Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and innovation roadmaps
- Partner with product development teams to embed future-ready principles into design thinking processes
- Deliver executive-level briefings and compelling visualizations translating complex future scenarios into strategic priorities
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning Horizon as a 2026 innovation authority
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures literacy and strategic adaptation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic vision frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, trend analysis, and scenario planning techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or innovation management preferred
