Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and drive the high-level system architecture for Project 2026, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- R&D Strategy: Lead research and development efforts to integrate emerging technologies into the core infrastructure.
- System Design: Create detailed technical specifications and design documents for complex distributed systems.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and drive optimization initiatives to reduce latency and improve throughput.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or C++ and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical roadmaps.
