The Opportunity:
You will be responsible for auditing our current infrastructure against the predicted technological shifts of 2026, identifying gaps, and architecting solutions that ensure our scalability, security, and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap focused on 2026 readiness, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Edge Computing) into our core architecture.
- Legacy Modernization: Lead initiatives to decommission legacy systems and migrate critical data to future-proof cloud-native environments.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct rigorous market research and foresight analysis to predict upcoming technological shifts and competitor moves.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical strategies into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, software engineering, or technical project management.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives with a forward-thinking, 5+ year outlook.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-stakes projects.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
