Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to create a positive first impression.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing detailed product information, and making personalized recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean, orderly store environment to enhance the customer experience.
- Identify customer needs and suggest add-on products to meet sales targets and increase average transaction value.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail or sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
