Responsibilities
- Engage customers proactively to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations to ensure satisfaction.
- Drive sales targets by effectively upselling and cross-selling products while maintaining the company’s brand standards.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our state-of-the-art point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Assist in maintaining the store’s visual merchandising displays to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
- Collaborate with the store management team to execute promotional events and special sales initiatives.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and empathy to foster loyalty.
- Perform inventory checks and restock merchandise as needed to ensure product availability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) as required by the role.
- Proficiency with computer systems and POS software is a plus.
