Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity thresholds
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for materials science and optimization problems
- Collaborate on quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum hardware-software co-design principles
- Drive R&D for quantum annealing and gate-based hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and compilation techniques
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped ion architectures
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE)
