Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor performance
- Lead research initiatives in error correction and qubit stability
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum machine learning models for enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Grover's)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Demonstrated experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
