Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and simulation applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance on next-generation processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks and APIs for industrial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to strategic technology roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Demonstrated expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
