Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm research for cryptography optimization and simulation applications
- Design and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence improvements and gate optimization
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week conferences
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era data processing
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and simulation frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware testing environments
