Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum processors operating at 99.9% fidelity
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum networks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals like Nature Quantum
- Collaborate with industry partners to solve real-world optimization problems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quipper)
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or trapped ion systems
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
