Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors with 100+ qubits
- Develop error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ in government grants and private funding
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM Q, Rigetti, or similar platforms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
