Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum algorithms, error correction, and hardware optimization for next-gen quantum processors
- Develop and implement quantum software solutions using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum systems with classical AI architectures
- Secure and manage research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private venture partners
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Develop patentable quantum technologies with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper) and simulation frameworks
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing literature
