Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for practical enterprise applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum systems targeting 1000+ qubit operations
- Drive R&D partnerships with Fortune 500 companies in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum technology deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary research teams of 10+ members
- Strong record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning applications
