Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and AI optimization
- Lead a 12-person research team in developing quantum-resistant encryption standards for 2026 deployment
- Collaborate with MIT and CERN partners on quantum error correction breakthroughs
- Translate theoretical quantum computing concepts into patentable commercial solutions
- Present research findings at global forums including IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum
- Drive the integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning and topology
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap, or photonic)
- Experience securing $2M+ in quantum computing research grants
- Understanding of NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography standards
- Fluency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing optimization skills
- Clearance for DOE quantum research projects (or ability to obtain)
