Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for commercial applications targeting 2026 deployment
- Architect scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design next-generation quantum processors with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government quantum initiatives
- Translate complex quantum principles into actionable roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Oversee quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks for industrial AI applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of quantum research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and their practical implementations
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or trapped ion technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary research teams and secure government/industry grants
