Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for 2026-era applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Drive quantum cryptography standards for next-gen security frameworks
- Partner with academic institutions to pioneer quantum materials research
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced quantum mechanics principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, QAOA) and error correction codes
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in agile environments
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
