Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with error correction targeting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum material science and cryogenic engineering
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum networks with sub-millisecond latency
- Establish security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum software stacks
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/IEEE) on quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit technology or trapped ion systems
- Track record of designing fault-tolerant systems with 99.999% reliability
- Experience securing federal quantum computing grants (NSF/DOE/DARPA)
