Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for real-world problem solving
- Lead research on quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to optimize quantum machine learning algorithms
- Architect quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols for 2026 infrastructure
- Create quantum simulation environments for pre-production testing
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed conference papers
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Certification in quantum systems architecture (preferred)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and entanglement principles
