Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for unsupervised learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with 3+ annual publications
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Develop patent-protected algorithms for quantum advantage in drug discovery
- Collaborate with DARPA on next-generation quantum security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 5+ years R&D
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms or AI optimization
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DARPA preferred)
- Proficiency in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems and trapped-ion architectures
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and tensor networks
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
