Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms optimized for specific machine learning tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate quantum modules into existing AI infrastructure.
- Conduct rigorous testing and benchmarking of quantum hardware and software stacks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
- Research and implement error mitigation techniques to improve the reliability of quantum computations.
- Document technical findings and present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing to drive continuous innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with specific experience in quantum computing libraries.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization algorithms.
- Strong background in classical machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
