Job Description
Are you ready to define the infrastructure of tomorrow?
Apex Horizon Technologies is seeking a visionary Lead Quantum Systems Architect to spearhead our Project 2026 initiative. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the neural networks and quantum-ready frameworks that will power the next decade of digital evolution. We are looking for a pioneer who isn't just adapting to the future but is actively architecting it.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical future tech and practical implementation. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and futurists to deploy scalable, high-performance systems designed for the 2026 era and beyond. If you thrive on complexity and have a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible in software engineering, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Roadmap: Define the technical vision and architectural strategy for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and emerging industry standards.
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of complex, distributed systems capable of handling exabyte-scale data and quantum-level processing requirements.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the engineering department.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in legacy and next-gen systems, implementing cutting-edge solutions to ensure 99.99% uptime and minimal latency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, security experts, and stakeholders to translate futuristic concepts into deployable, production-ready code.
- Risk Management: Conduct rigorous architectural reviews to mitigate potential risks associated with emerging technologies and high-concurrency environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), distributed systems, and microservices.
- Future-Ready Skills: Experience with AI-driven infrastructure, edge computing, or quantum computing simulation tools is highly desirable.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with innovative technical solutions.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
