Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural vision for quantum computing platforms, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
- Design and optimize quantum circuits and algorithms for real-world industrial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum modules into classical cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor senior engineers and provide technical guidance on quantum error correction and noise mitigation.
- Conduct research and stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum hardware and software libraries.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices for quantum software development.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and non-technical audiences effectively.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or high-performance computing.
- Deep expertise in quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil) and classical programming languages (Python, C++).
- Strong understanding of quantum algorithms (e.g., QAOA, VQE) and quantum error correction protocols.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex projects from conception to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
