Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for candidates in Tucson and surrounding areas.
- Employee Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork, equipment, and IT access are prepared before their first day.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, including I-9 verification, performance reviews, and attendance records.
- HR Administration: Process HR-related inquiries from staff via email or phone, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll team by verifying timecards and collecting necessary documentation for payroll processing.
- Compliance & Policy: Assist in communicating company policies, handbooks, and compliance updates to employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an HR role or administrative support position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Greenhouse or Workday.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Soft Skills: High level of integrity, discretion, and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
