Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork and orienting staff.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and personnel records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits inquiries, enrollment, and general HR policy questions.
- HRIS Support: Utilize HR software to input data, generate reports, and track time-off requests.
- Recruitment Assistance: Support the Talent Acquisition team with posting job openings and screening resumes.
- Payroll Coordination: Assist in the preparation of payroll data and ensure accuracy of time tracking records.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, administrative support, or customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
