Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately handle a variety of banking transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional environment for all customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues with patience and efficiency.
- Sales Support: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell our suite of financial products, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and insurance.
- Account Management: Assist customers with account openings, maintenance, and closing procedures.
- Cash Handling: Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and balance teller terminals at the end of each shift.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory compliance, and security protocols to ensure the safety of funds and customer data.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts simply.
- Math Skills: Strong proficiency in basic arithmetic and attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in financial transactions.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as this is a part-time position.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and eagerness to learn new banking software and systems.
