Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly service to all visitors.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining products and services to clients.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote bank products and services.
- Learn and adhere to all banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller workstation and lobby area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Finance or Business is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for handling cash transactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screen.
