Responsibilities
- Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with precision
- Balance cash drawers daily and maintain strict compliance with financial protocols
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for credit union products and services
- Resolve routine member inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Learn and adhere to all regulatory requirements and security procedures
- Assist with branch operational tasks as assigned by senior staff
- Participate in ongoing training to develop financial acumen and customer service skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cash transactions
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, email)
- Must pass background check and credit union certification requirements
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Previous cash handling experience preferred but not required
