Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, mobility, and nutrition
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab procedures under supervision
- Respond to patient call lights and provide timely assistance
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to ensure quality care
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – training provided!
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn electronic records systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
