Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assistant certification curriculum
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests under supervision
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Deliver exceptional patient communication and education
- Participate in 200+ hours of supervised clinical rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (25 WPM)
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Reliable transportation for clinical rotations
- Commitment to 6-month training program
- Tennessee residency required
- CPR certification within first 30 days
