Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, bathing, and personal care
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Support nursing staff with patient care procedures and treatments
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Accurately update patient records and documentation systems
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior healthcare experience required – training provided!
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Current CPR certification (provided during training)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license (for facility transport if applicable)
