Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Solutions: Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms and software architectures for our proprietary quantum processors.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives focused on quantum error correction, qubit coherence, and quantum supremacy benchmarks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, data scientists, and AI researchers to integrate quantum capabilities into existing hybrid computing systems.
- Code Optimization: Optimize quantum circuits and classical control software to maximize computational efficiency and minimize latency.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and guide the technical vision of the 2026 engineering team.
- Patent Strategy: Lead the documentation and filing process for groundbreaking quantum innovations.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong portfolio of projects involving quantum computing or advanced AI systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane) and languages such as Python, C++, and Q#.
- System Design: Deep understanding of quantum circuit design, quantum gates, and quantum annealing.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary problems in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
