As a Junior IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for technical troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support. You will work closely with our senior engineers to gain exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for employees and clients.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure network stability.
- Document all incidents, solutions, and procedures in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot connectivity and server issues.
- Conduct regular security updates and patch management on supported devices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 is required.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory basics).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and obtain industry certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred).
