Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person for end-users, ensuring rapid resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Perform daily system monitoring, health checks, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal server and network performance.
- Install, configure, and deploy new workstations, printers, and mobile devices while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and assist in the implementation of IT security protocols.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in our ticketing system for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as basic networking concepts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Greater New Orleans area.
