Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to end-users resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of help desk tickets, technical resolutions, and asset inventories.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security patches and software updates.
- Conduct basic user training sessions on new software tools and company policies.
- Manage printer queues and peripheral troubleshooting efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) during employment.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others succeed in a technology-driven environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends.
