The Role:
As a Junior IT Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our internal employees, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining our high technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to end-users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory and hardware lifecycles.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system (Jira/ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system maintenance and updates.
- Ensure compliance with company security protocols and IT policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
