Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor and respond to tickets in the Service Desk system, prioritizing issues based on business impact.
- Perform routine hardware diagnostics and software installations/upgrades.
- Collaborate with the Senior IT team to troubleshoot complex network connectivity and security problems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support tickets and system changes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage) and operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, Wi-Fi configuration) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during employment.
