Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems including OS setups and software installations
- Document technical issues and resolutions using ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Assist with network administration tasks including Wi-Fi setup and basic troubleshooting
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex system problems
- Conduct regular system updates and security patch management
- Participate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk software and ticketing systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs for hardware installations
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional on-site visits)
