Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via phone and ticketing systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform routine system updates, security patches, and backups.
- Assist in the setup of conference rooms and AV equipment for meetings.
- Monitor helpdesk ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of user requests.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) and hardware components is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues calmly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (we offer tuition reimbursement).
