Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate asset inventory
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects
- Deliver user training on new technologies and security protocols
- Monitor system performance and implement basic security measures
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver's license (for occasional off-site support)
