Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources and perform cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL and Excel to query databases, extract relevant datasets, and maintain data integrity.
- Report Generation: Create clear, visual data reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data to help the business understand customer behavior and market shifts.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand their analytical needs and provide actionable insights.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of data processes and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze complex data and interpret results logically.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling large datasets and generating reports.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Basic understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) or willingness to learn.
