Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone and email, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist with hardware deployment and configuration of laptops, printers, and mobile devices for new hires.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and various SaaS platforms.
- Monitor system performance and participate in regular maintenance and patching schedules.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system to maintain a knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to troubleshoot complex network connectivity and software conflicts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Computer Science or IT preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical difficulties.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and complete on-the-job training programs.
- Reliable internet access and a quiet workspace are required for remote support duties.
