Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year innovation strategy aligned with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) for commercial viability
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget and manage stakeholder expectations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board members
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing innovation budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
