Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end employee onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits enrollment, and HRIS data entry with high accuracy.
- Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate experiences.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, mediating conflicts, and conducting engagement activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee records and sensitive personnel information.
- Coordinate internal training sessions and development workshops.
- Assist in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS or ATS software is a plus.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the metro Detroit area for offsite events.
