Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Assist in the orientation process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Recruitment Support: Help screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment pipeline.
- HRIS Management: Maintain accurate employee records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and update databases as needed.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for basic employee inquiries and assist in resolving minor workplace issues.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Support the payroll team by verifying time-off requests and distributing benefit information.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring the company adheres to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Office Operations: Manage the HR office supplies and coordinate logistics for company events and meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional HR experience required; however, internships or customer service experience are highly valued.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity: High level of confidentiality and professional ethics regarding sensitive employee data.
