Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job ads on various platforms and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates for interviews.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the new hire orientation process, including preparing paperwork and welcoming new team members.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with questions regarding health insurance, 401(k), and other benefit programs.
- Payroll Coordination: Support the payroll team by gathering time sheets and verifying leave requests.
- HR Administration: Organize company events, manage internal communications, and assist with performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role (internships considered).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, high level of confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in San Jose, CA.
