What You'll Do:
- Oversee the full cycle of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files in compliance with state regulations.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
- Process payroll and benefits administration with strict accuracy.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and corporate events.
- Respond to HR-related inquiries from staff regarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR administration or a related support role.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Pennsylvania labor laws and employment practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to start immediately and work full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and exit interviews.
- Process payroll data and update benefit enrollment records.
- Prepare HR reports and statistics for management.
- Maintain the HR intranet and employee handbook.
- Support the HR Manager in special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR coordination or administrative support.
- Familiarity with federal and Pennsylvania state employment laws.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
