The Role:
As an HR Coordinator, you will support the HR department with daily administrative tasks, recruitment efforts, and employee relations. You will ensure that our organization remains compliant with federal and state regulations while fostering a supportive culture for our staff.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including posting job descriptions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
- Onboarding Excellence: Manage the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and that new employees have a welcoming introduction to the company.
- Employee Records: Maintain and update employee files and records in the HRIS system (e.g., BambooHR or Workday) to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Policy Administration: Answer employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, leave requests, and performance management procedures.
- Compliance & Reporting: Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies; assist in preparing HR reports and statistics for management.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on professionalism and discretion.
- Organization: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
