Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, health insurance claims, and leave of absence requests.
- Maintain and update the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), including employee records, payroll data, and organizational charts.
- Assist in the coordination of employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and company events.
- Support internal communications by drafting newsletters, updating internal job boards, and distributing company policies.
- Facilitate internal and external inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing HR-related reports and analytics for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including FMLA and ADA compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
