Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads on various platforms, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for hiring managers.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the employee onboarding process to ensure new hires feel welcomed and are equipped with the necessary tools, while overseeing exit interviews and offboarding procedures.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures; resolve issues with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, tracking enrollment data, and communicating changes to the workforce.
- Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- HR Events: Coordinate and organize company-wide HR events, such as annual retreats, wellness days, and recognition ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an HR coordination, administrative, or related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations specific to the state of Massachusetts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
