Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer management
- Administer employee onboarding programs ensuring seamless integration of new hires into company culture
- Maintain and update HRIS databases with accuracy, handling personnel records, benefits enrollment, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate employee relations initiatives, conducting exit interviews and resolving workplace conflicts
- Organize HR events including training workshops, team-building activities, and recognition programs
- Support payroll processing through bi-weekly timesheet verification and benefit deductions coordination
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies aligned with federal and state labor regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2+ years of HR coordination or generalist experience in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday/BambooHR preferred) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of NJ labor laws and HR compliance requirements (FLSA, ADA, EEO)
- Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication abilities with experience in sensitive employee interactions
- SHRM-CP certification or equivalent HR credentials preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
